History of Jesuits Coming to North America
The National Jesuit Brothers Committee sponsored an Institute of the History of Jesuits Coming to North America in June. This instiute which focused on the early Jesuit pioneers to North America was well attended by Jesuits brothers and priests.

vocation promotion will present a
History of Jesuits in New France
Allan Deck, SJ (CFN) – Executive Director of the USCCB
Office for Cultural Diversity will
present a History of Jesuits in Mexico and the Southwest
Gerald Fogarty, SJ (MAR) – Professor of Religious
Studies and History at the University of
Virginia will present a History of Jesuits in Maryland
Donald Hawkins, SJ (NOR) – Pastor and Historian will
present a History of Jesuits in the
South
Gerald McKevitt, SJ (CFN) – Professor of History at
Santa Clara University will present a
History of Jesuits in the Pacific Northwest and California
Raymond
Schroth, SJ (NYK) – Professor of Humanities at St. Peter’s College
will present
an overview of the History of Jesuits Coming to North America
David Suwalsky, SJ (MIS) – Director of the Saint Louis
University Museums and Galleries
will present a History of Jesuits in Missouri and Midwest
